Lately I’ve been trying to pencil in some time paint or draw or go take pictures somewhere new. I’m inspired during the day at work but after I get home, hang out with the kids, deal with straightening up, it’s so hard to not want to just veg out. I’ve been going through some personal stuff and working a lot lately and my left brain is soaking up all my mental power.

The good news is that I’ve been playing a lot more music lately and my band is coming along great on the songwriting front. I’ve started writing some more accoustic stuff that is my own as well and am hoping to get a decent song list together with originals after I move out and get my own place. Moving is a pain in the arse but I’m almost there! I’m gonna take some pictures this weekend hopefully at my friend’s birthday party in Sacramento to document some of the raucous behavior and good times.
