I finished my first movie for Seagate using iMovie. All in all iMovie was pretty easy to figure out. It’s so far gone from apps like Final Cut Pro obviously but I was able to get the basic job done. It’s my first cut out going out, doing the interviews, editing all the content myself, and then exporting it and promoting it. It was pretty easy to do and I had a lot of fun applying the music and dynamics of the volume levels etc. Anyway…here it is.

Just started putzing with iMovie too. Is the learning curve (if I wanted to switch) for Final Cut really steep?

The learning curve is definitely steep. It’s the difference between using MS Paint and Photoshop…..I’m still learning Final Cut and have only tapped about .000034% of it after putting in some hours.
